About the venue

The Beaufort Hotel is an outstanding conference venue and is situated near the centre of Inverness and within easy walking distance of all the town’s shops and attractions.

With traditional comfort and a great welcome, it is extremely popular with both Business and Tourist guests. There is also a considerable local trade for the bars, restaurant function and conference facilities. With the family name being Fraser, there is a Clan theme throughout – Beaufort, Lovat, Ness etc. which brings an added charm to this elegant former town house. Under the management of Roslyn Fraser, the Beaufort has recently been extended to include extra function and conference suites, additional bedrooms, excellent disabled facilities including ground floor accommodation, and ample car parking. The hotel boasts a large modern ground-floor function suite with private bar and toilet facilities and direct access from the car park. This has quickly become very popular for a wide range of uses from Wedding Receptions to Club nights and Clan Gatherings. For private functions we can cater for up to 100 seated or 120 for a buffet. A variety of menus are available. Our function co-ordinator will be delighted to help you plan your successful event. Fully-wired for sound systems, video demonstrations and computer-based teaching the Lovat suite has a private bar and toilet access and a floor area of around 100 sq.m. There is direct ramp access from the car park for easy equipment movement and compliant with the latest recommendations for disabled visitors. The suite can be subdivided with a sound-proof demountable wall to permit ‘break-out’ groups, or operated as a conference area with separate refreshment section. The hotel can therefore provide you with precisely the right size of function or conference facilities for your needs, whether private or business.
