5 miles from the railway station and the city centre. Set in 150 acres of scenic parkland called the Knavesmire, it is a hugely popular conference and events venue with its award-winning, modern facilities, beautiful surroundings, and first-class catering, all cooked from scratch in our on-site kitchens. Most of our rooms have an abundance of natural light, all have air conditioning, and many have expansive views across the racetrack. We have 4 fantastic conference and dining areas which are supported by 18 smaller breakout spaces suitable for workshops and smaller meetings, and additional exhibition suites York is a city with easy access for motorway and mainline train networks and is supported by an extensive selection of hotel accommodation. The city is a year-round destination steeped in history and culture with the spectacular York Minster, Roman walls, and museums and galleries. York Racecourse is one of the flagship venues of the city and a regular winner of Racecourse of the Year.
