The Lion & Swan is a 16 th Century Inn conveniently situated in the attractive market town of Congleton with a newly refurbished lounge and restaurant creating a contemporary feel without losing its traditional features.

A variety of functions are catered for including conferences, training courses, weddings, formal dinners, buffets and cocktail parties. The hotel boasts conference and banqueting facilities catering for up to 120 with a sit down meal for up to 80. Rooms can be arranged in a variety of layouts to suit your occasion, be it boardroom style for that high powered meeting or classroom style for seminars and lectures. Our 21 en suite bedrooms are decorated and feature all modern amenities. Our lounge, bar and restaurant is open to residents and non residents alike featuring a wide selection of real ales, lagers, wines & spirits. Our restaurant which is open Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner seven days a week serves an eclectic selection of dishes freshly prepared in house using locally sourced fresh ingredients.
