About the venue

Sandbach Town Hall is situated in the heart of the ancient market town of Sandbach.

Constructed in 1889 and designed in a Gothic revival style with a fine steep roofed building, a bell tower and an illuminated clock, it has provided a central meeting place for the people of the town. Sandbach Town Hall boasts a selection of rooms to hire that will accommodate a wide variety of events from conferences, small meetings, training workshops and a variety of celebrations from corporate dinners to full weddings. Clients who continue to use and enjoy the facilities provided, range from professional organisations such as the BBC, Cheshire East and National Blood Service; private clients for weddings, receptions, dinners and funeral proceedings; spanning corporate hire for conferences, product launches, wedding fairs, baby fairs and vintage craft fairs and more. Sandbach Town Hall can openly say that it is a multi-functional venue with the ability to make your occasion go smoothly and according to plan. Having been totally refurbished it now provides state of the art facilities within its stunning gothic backdrop. With flexible pricing tailored to your needs and the ability to put you in contact with suppliers who know the Town Hall well, Sandbach Town Hall can certainly make sure your event runs like clockwork. The Ballroom has an original beamed ceiling reflected in a mirrored wall to accentuate and highlight this feature, which can be superbly lit for full atmospheric effect. The maple floor is perfect for dancing although the room itself can be configured to accommodate all types of events. The optional 26 square metres of staging and multi-functional stage lighting suits performances, theatre, catwalk shows and presentations. The Boardroom is a standalone hire space that has presentation facilities, as well as a small kitchen for refreshments. The Charter Room, with its view over the High Street provides for meetings, training, small parties and many other uses, again with presentation facilities and its own refreshment making facilities. Its location with its soundproof glass, is above the Ballroom allowing you (if you wish) to be seen and not heard! Alternatively, you can be screened off to provide a comfortable, carpeted, private space. All the rooms have full wifi and can be hired individually or together.
