Built in 1705, for the Churchill family, the Hotel has had a varied history, being more recently the home of Colonel Horlicks of 'Horlicks' drinks fame. The Hotel still retains the intimacy of a private country estate, yet today it extends a level of luxury and service found only in the very best hotels in the world. In addition to the 63 recently refurbished bedrooms, all of which have the features associated with a modern Hotel, there is also an indoor swimming and spa pool, sauna's and two outdoor tennis courts.
