About the venue
This 16th century castle boasts a contemporary garden and superb views of shimmering seascapes across Portland Harbour.
Located on the water’s edge, the unusual fan-shaped castle was built by Henry VIII from local Portland Stone to ward off foreign invasion. Although it did not see active service until the Civil War, this Tudor stronghold was in use until World War II. Ideal for corporate events, conferences and parties.
