Originally built as the headquarters of the Refuge Assurance Company, the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is now a Grade-II listed 270 bed hotel.

The hotel has long been a landmark icon in the city and we are thrilled to see so much of its beauty and history restored following its multimillion pound renovation programme. With the largest hotel ballroom in the north-west of England holding up to 1000 guests and 17 additional conference rooms, the hotel has always been a popular choice for event organisers drawn in by the scale and versatility of the function space and its ornate design, which has been lovingly protected throughout the upgrade. This huge restoration has given the hotel a new lease of life with a stunning new look and new event spaces including an outdoor space ‘ Waterhouse Way’ and exclusive pub ‘Copper Face Jacks’.
