Kimberley Hall is a private residence.
For the first time in its history, the park and certain rooms in the house are available for hire for your event; be it a wedding, hospitality event, film or fashion shoot, product launch or large-scale open-air event. This is conducted on an exclusive basis so that your function will not compete with another on the same day. For our peace of mind and your assurance, we have a preferred list of suppliers of marquees, catering, bar and other services. Kimberley is an original and flexible venue that offers you a blank canvas upon which to exercise your creative energy. The principal ‘Music Room’ with its historic plasterwork and statues of Castor and Pollux (licensed for civil ceremonies) can accommodate 50 seated at tables, 100 seated comfortably in rows or 120 for a standing reception. These numbers can be increased when using a further three connecting rooms, to 100, 120, and 200 respectively. Additionally, the lower ground floor level with its vaulted ceilings provides a relaxed atmosphere for more informal events and parties with a capacity of at least 250. Should your event be larger than the house can provide space for, then the gardens with their spectacular view over the Capability Brown park towards the lake will provide ample space for marquees. If you are interested in holding an open-air event, the park itself offers an idyllic setting with no shortage of parking in the surrounding grass fields. The approximate capacity being in the region of 5,000. The setting of Kimberley Hall makes it an elegant and sumptuous location for lectures, demonstrations, end of year parties and product launches. Although there are some rooms available inside the Hall for conferences and luncheons, our corporate guests also place marquees in one of our fabulous gardens close to the Hall. There are several places near-by to stay the night if the party is to extend into the night. we can provide a list of hotels, pubs, b&b's on request. All establishments are carefully vetted for suitability. Central London is only 2.5hrs by car with the Hall only 2.5m from the main arterial route of the A11. Wymondham train station is 2.5 miles away with the Journey from London Kings Cross taking 2 hrs. There is also a 750m long grass airstrip for flying shows and flying visitors.
