About the venue

The beautiful seventeenth century Drawing Room is used as the main Conference area, accommodating up to 24 delegates in a 'hollow-square' layout, or up to 50 in a theatre setting.

It has an adjoining room suitable for 'break-out' groups or the service of Tea and Coffee throughout the day. Two further 'break-out' areas are available if required. Luncheon is served in the Dining Room. Over-night accommodation can be provided for a limited number of delegates, but arrangements can be made with nearby hotels (The town of Largs is under 2 miles from Kelburn) if the number of delegates is too great. The Drawing Room is used as the main reception area. A tour of the Castle can be included, if requested, given by a trained Guide, or by Lady Glasgow, if available. There is a Billiard Room available for the delegates, and the extensive grounds can be used for a wide variety of activities. (See under Corporate Training Days). Delegates may use the Largs, Pro-Am, Golf Course. Basic conference equipment (flip charts, projector and screen, Fax and E-mail) is included in the daily facility fee, and further equipment can be provided on request, at an additional charge.
